saving...
name your first module with _00
disable autosave
always use save as
and increment the number: module_01
always keep the last 3 copies
save as each time you work a big part
save as each time you display an area, modify it and save
once your area is modified and set
save as and reload the toolset, then dont open the area
open only the script editor or and the conversation
there is no memory problem using script and convo
save as then edit an area
save as and close the area if you want to return to script

how to strip an OC module
take a copy of the original module and name it with original in front
no you have the original and the copy original
copy again the original in documents folder/nwn2/module
name that copy using the suffix _00

open the toolset and delete all the script, then the convo
open the main area and use area content to delete all the placeables and environmentals and lights and waypoints etc.. and creature
use edit properties of area and delete all area event handlers
save as
close area
in edit menu, modify properties of module
delete all events handlers
save as
open next area, stripp all the stuff
save as _XX
close area and open next area

the idea of stripping OC modules is to keep only the pathfinding matrix so the players wont need any downloads they wont need client files etc...
all the scripts, convo, placeables and module contents will sit on the server

the players will be able to load the area and they will see the new placeables

Once an OC module is stripped, we can create some placeables in it but never rebake, if those settings are not disable i.e. rebake on saving... disable them right now elephant lol!
